Citrix is a server solution that utilizes Microsoft Terminal Services software to provide Windows applications to PCs, Apple Macintosh computers, X terminals, and UNIX workstations. This permits users of those systems to access and make use of those programs which are available to those using the Windows operating system. Citrix servers use two technologies; Winfarmeand Independent Computing Architecture (ICA).
